Taken near sunset on the walk to the outdoor hot tub at Bluefin Bay resort, up in Tofte, MN.

This was taken several years ago, when there was much less ice on Lake Superior than this winter. At sunrise, the lake just had a thin scrim of ice on it.

I took these near the end of February, right after 8 inches of snow fell, of a local park. You can see that the picnic tables are almost buried–it’s been a pretty epic winter here.
