The Stanley Hotel

Images of the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. This hotel is a key piece of the history of this town and area, and is also known as the inspiration for the Overlook Hotel in Stephen King’s “The Shining”.

I mostly photograph natural and rural landscapes, with special attention to the odd and macabre. I use a Sony Alpha 57 dSLR camera, or my cell phone, both of which I’m continually still learning to use. You can also find me on Facebook at Emily Stark Photography.
