This is from the last week of May this year, here in Minnesota–I tried to get some nice pictures of the blooming crab trees on a foggy, damp morning.
Hibiscus
I love hibiscus flowers, but don’t have the patience to try to grow them in Minnesota.
Tropical Flowers
I’ve seen these flowers in numerous warm places–Mexico, here in Morocco, Spain…they are so beautiful and bright.
Water Lilies
These were at the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakesh, former home of Yves Saint Laurent.
Purple
I’m not sure what this tree is, but the hanging purple flowers were beautiful.
Roses in the Dades Gorge
I was surprised at the number of rose bushes I saw planted all around the airport in Marrakesh, and when we were headed east to the Sahara, we passed through the Dades Gorge, where tons and tons of roses grow.
Cactus Flower
These cacti were all over parts of Morocco and southern Spain, with beautiful yellow flowers.

Magnolia Flower
Magnolia trees are beautiful–ours is only a couple years old, and seems to really bloom nicely every other year. This picture is from last year when there were tons of blooms on it; currently, there’s only a couple of buds getting ready to bloom.
