Some late-summer purple flowers shot at sunset, still holding on to summer.

I’m not sure what these orange wildflowers are, and I only see them in northern MN.

These wild purple asters were growing everywhere in northern MN, blooming late into fall.

Usually I try to keep the sun from being directly in my photos, but I do like the washed-out, late summer feel of this.

Now the fall flowers are starting to bloom!

A beautiful water lily flower, in a foundation at Sibley Park in Mankato, MN.

This was in the greenhouse gardens at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden; I’m not sure what it is, but the pink flowers are striking.

The hops gradually start to turn brown in late fall.
