We don’t actually use the hops to brew anything, but we love these fast-growing vines and watching them grow every summer.

It seems a long time ago now that these allium were blooming, at the beginning of June.

This is an odd-looking lily, growing in one of the gardens up at the Sculpture Garden in Minneapolis. The buds were all twisty, and the flowers small and spotted.
