This is one of my favorite pictures from traveling to Ecuador and the Galapagos a few years ago. The blue-footed boobies would walk right up to you (animals there don’t have a lot of natural predators, as the islands are so isolated, so they’re not scared of much). They would stand there, and show you their feet. So cute!
I’m lying on the ground to get a picture of this peony against the sky; the sun is a little bright here, but I like how the flower looks huge!
We transplanted these peonies a few years ago, and finally this year they’ve nicely come back to grow multiple buds. So beautiful!

This waterfall is in the ‘Grand Canyon’ of Yellowstone National Park.
This is one of the waterfalls you can see at Tettegouche State Park, in MN. If I recall correctly, this is the tallest waterfall that is entirely in Minnesota (there’s one right on the Canada/MN border that’s a bit taller).
