I took these near the end of February, right after 8 inches of snow fell, of a local park. You can see that the picnic tables are almost buried–it’s been a pretty epic winter here.
I was amazed at how huge Yellowstone is–just endless mountains, trees, nature (and roads and people; August was the busy season out there). This is the ‘Grand Canyon’ of Yellowstone.
At least winter can be beautiful, even never-ending winter like we’re having. Many of my pictures are of winter landscapes–there’s certainly enough to take pictures of here in Minnesota! These are a couple of my favorite winter photos.
