These are of the ruined Castle Urquhart, on Loch Ness in Scotland. This lake is huge, it’s completely understandable that people could have seen some odd things in the lake, that never surfaced.
I also like the man just chilling on the bench in the 2nd picture; he looks like the only person here, just hanging out at the castle, looking for Nessie.
This is the Bath Abbey, during a rainy/cloudy/sunny afternoon in Bath, England. I’m trying to do a better job of not taking crooked pictures, or at least leaving enough that I can straighten and crop then in Photoshop. I think I was more interested in the sky and capturing how huge this church is, and only later noticed the picture was crooked. Learning!
I’m not sure what kinds of flowers these are, but they don’t look like ones we have in Minnesota. These were growing in the gardens of Cawdor Castle, near Inverness in northern Scotland. Fun fact: MacBeth was the Thane of Cawdor.
Visiting Stonehenge was interesting; it’s just right near some fields, off a highway. Nothing much to see here, just Stonehenge.

You can’t get too close to the actual changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, but nearby, some others can be found at locations like St. James’ palace. Everyone here was quite respectful; no shenanigans to try to make him laugh.
This is one of the peacocks that live out at the Schell’s Brewery, in New Ulm, MN. If you visit in spring, sometimes the males are showing off, and you can get a picture of their beautiful tails. They’re not too wary of humans, and nicely pose for the camera.

This was taken several years ago, when there was much less ice on Lake Superior than this winter. At sunrise, the lake just had a thin scrim of ice on it.
This is a picture I took on a trip to San Pedro Island, Belize, a few years ago. The tractor brings in the supplies from the boats. Tractors driving on docks was unexpected.
