Snowfall
I took these near the end of February, right after 8 inches of snow fell, of a local park. You can see that the picnic tables are almost buried–it’s been a pretty epic winter here.
Grand Tetons
Another shot from a trip out west–this is of the Grand Teton mountains, just south of Yellowstone National Park.
Yellowstone National Park
I was amazed at how huge Yellowstone is–just endless mountains, trees, nature (and roads and people; August was the busy season out there). This is the ‘Grand Canyon’ of Yellowstone.
Devil’s Tower
This was taken on a trip out to Yellowstone back in 2011, playing with the ‘old picture’ filter in Photoshop. Devil’s Tower is a spooky place!
Beaches!
Yes, winter is beautiful, but so are sunny beaches.
Winter Unending
At least winter can be beautiful, even never-ending winter like we’re having. Many of my pictures are of winter landscapes–there’s certainly enough to take pictures of here in Minnesota! These are a couple of my favorite winter photos.
Thinking Spring
Technically these hosta flowers show up in mid- to late summer, but right now, they still make me think of spring.
